ListSieve is operated by ListSieve, a sole proprietorship. Contact: support@listsieve.com.

What we process

• Addresses you check: processed to return a result. Single checks, batch checks and in-browser CSV checks are not stored after the response. Lists you upload for background checking, and their results, are kept in your account so you can download them; email support to have them deleted. For API usage we keep only per-key monthly check counts, not the addresses checked.
• Waitlist: your email and optional use case, used only to contact you about the Service.
• Account: your email address, sign-in sessions, API keys (stored hashed) and credit history.
• Billing: handled by Stripe; we don't store card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

How checks work

We query public DNS for the address's domain. Mailbox-level checks connect to the receiving mail server from our checking servers and end the conversation before any message is sent.

Sharing

We don't sell data. We use these sub-processors: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Contabo (checking servers) and Forward Email (inbound email forwarding).
